Marion and Iain welcome you to their home in the Western Isles of Scotland, a three star Scottish Tourist Board Bed and Breakfast.
We are situated in the village of Balallan in the Lochs district of the Isle of Lewis. Balallan is reputedly the longest village on the island - being almost three miles long - and is an excellent centre for exploring both Lewis and Harris.
Whether you are visiting the island to see the varied wildlife, the numerous historic sites, or just to get away from it all, you will never be far from stunning scenery. The views above give you an idea of just how beautiful, remote and peaceful the island is - and are right on our doorstep.
We are a member of the Scottish Tourist Borad's Walkers and Cyclists Welcome Scheme.
Our modern croft house offers a high standard of accommodation, and is situated on a working croft. Crofting is a traditional form of leasehold farming, used primarily to rear sheep. This is our son-in-law Angus doing the shearing.
